The fourth release of SHIFT Digital Audio comes from the talented artist Derek M who was born in Germany and raised in Greece, his current base. Rhythmic drums and grooves characterize 'Still Rolling' while big room effects fill the atmosphere.
Made for any dance floor, 'No Mercy' includes heavy techno kicks and a bass-line covered with clever stabs. Atmospheric Pad leads 'Together But Alone' while sharp percussion overlays the bass-line. Rolling drums complete the foundation of the track. Distorted and overarching synths characterise 'My Time', the final track of the EP. Dark vocals set the scene for a melody that fills the track with energy and a sense of mystery.
